Last week, the ANCHOR Project hosted our second “Get to Know Your ANCHOR” event. It was energizing to see the ANCHOR space bustling with potential participants and community members! Visitors enjoyed Baggins sandwiches (yum!), good conversation, and giveaways like themed gift baskets and ANCHOR Project t-shirts.
They also had the opportunity to share their feedback on names for our weekly groups, topics for our monthly workshops, questions about the project and things they’d like to see incorporated. We’ll be hosting more “Get to Know Your ANCHOR” events in the future. In the meantime, we’re excited to enroll participants and start seeing you all on a regular basis!
If you’re reading these posts and still on the fence about participating in the ANCHOR Project, come by some time to meet our staff, see the space, and learn more. Starting April 7th, ANCHOR will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5pm for open hours and 5-7pm for groups.
